Frederic Fontenoy is a photographer that I bumped into shortly not too long ago when I was roaming around on the web. I bumped into him today again when I was looking at Letters from a Seraglio. I am really glad that I were given the possibility to establish a relationship with his pictures once more. They are truly inspirational in their genre and well worth looking at, over and over again.
His personal style have a slight touch of Man Ray who 
also was a wonderful surrealist photographer, but you can also hear a slight whisper from Salvador Dali as well lingering in the scenes that Frederic Fontenoy are depicting. I adore his pictures because they are intelligently made, it isn’t your run of the mill everyday pornographic material. These pictures are made for both the mind and soul and not only to cause genitals bounce around in your pants.
The style utilised by Frederic Fontenoy is also a homage to the genre of film noir, which also a favorite of mine, as the mysterious and dark scenes reveal themselves in his pictures. 
Beautiful women are being held in contradiction to men with faces carved out of stone and the spanking scenes become highly erotic.
Pictures that reveal a surrealistic world where BDSM is the centerpiece and the minute details are uncovered as you immerse yourself into the pictures. When I look at his pictures I start to wonder what has happened prior to when I was let into the scene. Why are the people involved in the scene doing what they are doing?
Questions about what could have possibly happened that led up to 
this particular event is one part of the beauty with these pictures. The other part is that these pictures are highly erotic without ever becoming tasteless and too obvious.
The images created by Frederic Fontenoy are a pure joy to look at and are definitely something that will arouse you. They pull you in a mesmerizing way, almost as if they want the viewer to participate in them actively.
They want you to get inspired, they want you to recreate the scenes and experience them through your emotions.
