The Femina Potens art gallery in San Francisco is holding an “Erotic Wine And Rope Sampling” on Saturday January 23rd 8pm, where frisky fetishists can taste delicious wines and find a good rope to pair them with. Executive director Madison Young says the “world’s finest ropes” will be available for “dominants” to test out on “submissives,” who’ll be blindfolded, tied up, and fed wine in a dog bowl.
With blindfolds in place, Young says the “taste of the wine and the bite of the rope” is enhanced. Just like a good wine has rich aromas and layered flavors, there’s certain things that make a fine rope perfect for a night of whipping. Young explains, “There are intricate differences in ropes that people can experience at the event. The ropes toothy or sleek quality, its taste, smell, and most importantly, its ability to make your submissive squeal or moan in deep pleasure.”
