A good movie about the essence of BDSM, rather than porn, is hard to come across. But there are a few of them out there and one of them are really good. CAT and me have been watching it for a couple of days and I would strongly recommend it.
The movie I’m talking about is Secretary with James Spader amd Maggie Gyllenhaal. It touches the subject without making BDSM into a sensational kink. It also tells a story about two, rather, “lost” people that find each other and themselves through their connection to BDSM. Personal growth, eroticism and BDSM in one go.

I absolutely Love this movie, it is so moving and intense.. really! people who don’t practice BDSM, might even call it a bit weird or boring but people who are into BDSM will I think fall in love with it…
There is SO much said without even saying it, actors were amazing… but the scene and story line Awwwww I’m sure this movie won’t be for everyone, but I say give it a go before you judge it
i so want to see this. From an interview with the director Steven Shainberg:
“It deals in the way in which sex, love and power are all inter-related and I was very interested in doing a love story that was different and that would deal with these kinds of issues but not in a creepy way or a dark way but in a way that had a sort of lightness and beauty to it. I don’t think that there’s anything odd, at all, about what they’re doing. I think what while what they’re doing is perhaps metaphorically bigger than the way many love relationships work in reality, that all relationships have these aspects.
