This is the dominant response to CAT’s post about stress and I will take a point of origin in something that is often referred to as learning by experience.
CAT, my lovely submissive, you can not learn certain things without having to experience them yourself. Love is actually a pretty good example. You have read tons of books which all describes the intricate details of love and how it works, but to fully understand what love means, then you have to experience it yourself. Our entire life is filled experiences and conclusions that are based on this way of learning.
BDSM is quite similar as it is filled with learning by experiences. I train your reflexes and alter your behavioural responses by negative, as well as positive reinforcement. All of this is based on one specific goal – To reach the ultimate level of servitude.
The ultimate level of servitude is unreachable, and should be. To me it is the journey towards that goal that is of importance and it is through this travelling we change and become something different, it is through the travelling we learn something new about ourselves.
In most cases I will not reveal the purpose of an exercise, because each exercise is one step on the journey that I have promised you, my lovely submissive. The journey is something that I have planned in order to show you things that you didn’t think were possible. That is my responsibility as a Master.
With each punishment, and each command I will show you corners of your mind and your personality that you didn’t think existed. But the real learning takes place during the journey, not when you have reached the goal.
Each exercise is my way of polishing the gem I’ve seen in you, my dear submissive, a gem that can and will be turned into a diamond. And by pushing your boundaries I will make you glow and shine.
